There is an important update coming this week (07.07.2019), which will introduce new locations, P2P friendly servers and hopefully WireGuard protocol. This will affect current locations as well.
Unfortunately, we have to stop supporting some of the servers due to the high cost, low usage or P2P restrictions. At some point, we want to drop OpenVPN support.
At the moment our main focus now is to implement WireGuard. This new protocol will allow us to bring removed locations back and add more ones in the future. Currently, WireGuard is completely unoptimized, but it already wins over OpenVPN and other protocols.
All our users who bought or renewed their subscription from 07.06.2019 are eligible to a full refund until the end of the month. Please, open a ticket in our billing with a refund request. We will process it in 24 hours.
- New York
- Las Vegas
- Luxembourg (little later)
Locations which will be removed after the update:
- South Korea
- Texas, California, Iowa and Virginia
This update will require you to download new configuration files for new locations. For other locations, you don't need to update your configuration files and everything should work normally.
Right now, we need to take a step back, so we could move forward and grow. We appreciate customers who are forward thinkers and accept the change. Thank you.
